The unit’s advanced thermostatic shutoff feature automatically cuts off water flow if the temperature exceeds the pre-set limit of 185°F (85°C), preventing live steam from passing through the unit.

SuperKlean customers have been asking over the past few years for a thermostatic version of our worldwide favorite DuraMix 8000 Hose Station. Two years ago, SuperKlean engineers added a Ball Valve version of our DuraMix 8000 “Globe-Valve-based” Hose Stations. This rounded out our wide line of Hose Station solutions. But still, some customers said a small percentage of (“Engineering Spec’s”) they receive require a thermostatic mixing valve with limiting capability so the steam hose station would automatically cut off at water temperatures above 185 degrees Fahrenheit.
So, in 2024 SuperKlean announced and started shipping a new line of thermostatic temperature-limiting safety hose stations called the DuraMix 8000T Series. These 8 new models feature the same high-quality construction and performance as our DuraMix 8000 family that has been shipping for decades, plus the additional capability of automatic hose station shutoff in the case that the hose station’s hot water output exceeds 185 degrees. The DuraMix 8000T functions as a highly reliable temperature control mixing valve, offering precision and safety for industrial washdown applications.
The DuraMix 8000T is ideal for customers who need an industrial thermostatic mixing valve solution that integrates seamlessly into their sanitation or process water systems. You can be assured that this unit also works with SuperKlean’s entire line of hot water washdown products including our complete line of industrial hot water nozzles, perfectly engineered adapters and fittings, as well as our extensive line of hot water washdown hoses.
